A note on our rates

As they must, our rates vary by season, and are somewhat lower on weekdays than on weekends.  High season comes twice a year, roughly from mid-June to the first days of October, and then again from mid-December to sometime in April.  Our low seasons are in the Spring and the Fall. Special rates apply around Christmas and New Year's, and again around July 4th.

Holidays and holiday weekends subject to weekend rates or other special rates:

  • Martin Luther King Jr. Day
  • Presidents’ Day
  • Memorial Day
  • Independence Day
  • Labor Day
  • From the weekend before Christmas Day
  • through the weekend after New Year's Day.

On weekends during high season our least expensive room (a “Poker” room) currently rents for $97 plus tax; our most expensive room (the “Lodge” Cabin, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms) rents for $229.  During the low season those same rooms rent for $79 and $179 on weekends.  As stated above, weekday prices are lower.

Use the “Booking” button on this or any page to find the prices for our rooms on the days you wish to come.  Of course all published and quoted prices are subject to 10% Placer County Motel Tax.

Please be aware that Tamarack Lodge reserves the right to change prices and rates at any given time and without notice.

Discounts

Our objective when determining our rates is to provide excellent value to all of our guests.  As such, we do not offer specific discounts based on group membership.  For example, we do not offer a discount to members of the AAA; nevertheless, AAA members would do well to stay here, as our regular rates are lower than the special AAA rates offered nearby.

We do offer discounts based on length of stay.  These are available for stays of 7 nights and longer.

Beyond this we also have occasional and seasonal special offers open to all of our guests.  To see them, visit our “Special Offers” page.  We hope they will be of interest to you.

Extra beds

If an extra bed is needed, the cost is $10 per night.  Note that some of our rooms can accommodate an extra bed, while others cannot.  Be sure to call us in advance if you think you might need an extra bed in your room.
